OK I am going to work on moving my blog here from the old one that I had hosted from home. I am going to need to figure out the hosting of the main site. But that will have to wait.

It can be amazing how adding three kids to dinner pushes the volume level up 10 times. I hate eating alone. Even eating in a full restaurant is not the same as eating with ones family. I will have to post later a video of Gareth eating mashed potatoes. I am glad to be at home.

Here I am stuck far from my family. It has been hard the last month only seeing my wife and kids on the weekends. But I am glad to still have a job. It would suck more to be at home without a job. It is nice to have work to do and to accomplish stuff.

It really cracks me up when I hear people call a spreadsheet a database. That is not an effective tool to store data. It can be a great tool to manipulate, and report data but actual database engines are much more effective at storing data.

Well this is enough random mind puking for tonight. I am off to bed. I am looking forward to going home tomorrow, just hoping that it is not through snow that I have to drive home.

OK after hearing Leo Laport talk about it for several weeks I finally broke down and signed up on Twitter. We'll have to see how it goes. I won't be able to do any tweets from work because they have the site blocked (I think), but who cares.

Well on Saturday I went to my first Martial Arts Tournament. It was fun. I had a good time watching all the different styles. A lot of the people that did weapons chose to use the bo (quarter staff). One little girl chose a fan it was very pretty. I also did participate and placed 2nd for my division in the Forms and 1st in sparring. We only took one picture here is a link to it.

He was Born on Feb 12 at 7:36 pm. And weight 6lbs and 2.4 oz, and is 19 1/2" long.
